ELM Reaches Half-Million Mark

Since launching its learning management system (LMS) in 2002, ELM has recently delivered its 500,000 online continuing medical education (CME) course. Participants include more than 87,000 healthcare providers affiliated with hospitals and insurance carriers nationwide.

ELM believes, however, that an effective LMS is not simply about server capacity. Success is measured by compelling content and is supported by a knowledgeable staff.

Clients use ELM courses to enable healthcare providers to define the required standards of care, recognize patterns of legal risk in clinical situations, and make legally sound choices. To that end, more than 96% of participants report they will make changes to their clinical practice as a result of the ELM courses.

Over the years, ELM has proven itself as a highly effective loss reduction strategy committed to protecting providers, their patients, and their organizations.
